Measuring Chest Compression with Real CPR Help
The force required to depress the chest during CPR varies with the patient’s size and build. The standard measure of chest compression quality, however, is not force but depth. The Real CPR Help® technology in ZOLL’s CPR-D-padz® includes a hand-placement locator, an accelerometer, electronics, and a processing algorithm that work together to measure vertical displacement in space as each compression occurs.

One Size Fits All
ZOLL’s one-piece electrode design accounts for anatomical variation. Based on extensive human data, CPR-D-padz meet the anthropometric chest characteristics of 99% of the population. If needed, the lower (apex) electrode can be separated and adjusted to accommodate the remaining 1% of the population.

Simplified Placement
Affixing two separate electrode pads to the patient’s bare chest can be confusing to a lay rescuer. ZOLL’s CPR-D-padz simplify this step by guiding placement of the red crosshairs at the center of the imaginary line connecting the patient’s nipples. Once in place, the hand-locator and the two electrode pads fall naturally into optimal position for both defibrillation and CPR.

Five-Year Shelf Life
All AED electrodes transmit defibrillating electricity into the patient via metal in close contact with a salt-infused gel that is positioned between the metal and the skin. Over time, however, the salt in the gel will corrode the metal and eventually compromise electrode functionality. ZOLL’s novel electrode design includes a sacrificial element that prevents significant corrosion for five years, which is unmatched in the market today.

Shipping Terms:

 

Orders will be shipped via UPS Standard Ground unless other handling is requested or deemed more economical.  QuadMed will pay standard ground shipment costs on all orders over $150.00 for any shipments delivered within the continental U.S., except for oversized shipments or those exceeding weight limitations.  For oversized shipments and those exceeding weight limitations, standard shipping rates will apply. 

 

Any order under $150 will incur a $14.95 shipping & handling fee for shipment delivered within the U.S.  Actual shipping rates apply for any orders going to Alaska or Hawaii.  For all resellers, freight will be prepaid and added to the invoice.  Shipments will be made to business addresses only.

 

International Orders:

 

There is a $2,500.00 minimum for orders placed for delivery outside the U.S.  International orders must be prepaid via wire transfer.  Receipt of wire transfer is required before any shipments are made on the order.  If the product(s) requires a Medical Authorization document, it must be submitted in English and received prior to product shipment.

 

Return Policy:

 

Written authorization must be obtained prior to returning merchandise.  All returns should be sent back within 30 days in new, resalable condition.  Returns are subject to a 20% restock fee.  Merchandise held longer than 60 days, or custom orders, are not returnable.  All returned items must be prepaid and sent back to QuadMed.  Returns must be received by QuadMed within 14 days of RMA issuance.  Please have the RMA written clearly on the outside of the package or on the shipping label.  Products received without an RMA # will not be eligible for credit and will be returned to sender.

 

All returns must be accompanied by an RMA.  Please contact customer service at 904-880-2323 or email us at [email protected] to obtain an RMA #.

 

If the return is a result of a QuadMed error, we will take every measure to quickly rectify the situation at no cost to you.  Notification of any errors must be received within 14 days of shipment/invoice date. 

If the return is not the result of a QuadMed error, the customer will be responsible for shipping the item back in new condition and will be credited for the item returned, less the original shipping fee.  If the order qualified for free shipping, the customer will credited for the item returned, less the original shipping expense incurred by QuadMed. 

 

Orders Deemed Non-Returnable:

 

1. Products returned that are not in their original packaging, or original packaging is broken

2. Products that have been written on or engraved

3. Products that are special/customer orders

4. Products that exceed 60 days from invoice date.

5. Recertified equipment

Warranty Info

Support for product-related issues is available through our Technical Support Help Desk by calling 800 348-9011 or 978 421-9655. Technical Support will require pertinent information to open a Service Request. To facilitate this, please complete a Customer Call Report. This information will assist us in performing a full evaluation when the product is received at our Depot. You will be given an RMA number to track the return of your product.

Repairs

Repairs are provided via the ZOLL Service Depot by factory-trained Service Repair Technicians. Each unit is certified by successfully completing the 6 Month Checkout Procedure as detailed in the appropriate Service Manual, applying a Calibration sticker, and returning the product with a Warranty Repair Form indicating the work performed. As an ISO-certified facility, we retain training records on each employee and are committed to providing the highest level of quality in the servicing of all ZOLL products.

Upgrades

All upgrades are performed in the ZOLL Medical Technical Service Depot. Outside the US, contact your local ZOLL office or Authorized Distributor. Within the US, if you would like to have your device upgraded, contact the Service Contract & Upgrade Specialist at 800 348-9011 or 978 421-9890 or email service inquiries to [email protected]. In the US, Service Loaners will be available for use during the upgrade process.

ZOLL Medical offers a variety of Extended Warranty and Preventive Maintenance programs. These programs are designed to help you to budget your maintenance costs and protect you against price increases.
