Description

Techniques which can be taught and trained using the TruMan Trauma X include chest tube insertion, needle decompression, CPR, airway management, needle and surgical cricothyroidotomy, percutaneous tracheostomy and difficult airway management.

Lifelike training in advanced airway management skills, intubation, ventilation, CPR and emergency surgical procedures for life threatening trauma situations. Anatomically correct simulated human torso and AirSim airway facilitate training in tracheostomy, needle & surgical cricothyroidotomy, chest tube insertion, needle decompression of tension pneumothorax and more.

Model Features:

  • Anatomically correct oral and nasopharyngeal AirSim® airway designed using CT DICOM data taken from human patient
  • Observable jugular vein distension in neck
  • Removable larynx with palpable tracheal rings and replaceable larynx membrane inserts
  • Realistic feel of all thoracic palpable landmarks including tracheal deviation
  • Cavity for optional liquids to simulate haemothorax or pleural effusion
  • Air may be introduced to create tension pneumothorax on either side; successful needle insertion audibly releases air

AIRSIM® AIRWAY FOR REALISTIC PRACTICE OF AIRWAY MANAGEMENT AND VENTILATION IN EMERGENCIES
TruCorp’s innovative AirSim® airway is a visually accurate, anatomically correct and extremely durable. The AirSim® airway is certified to practice over 20,000 intubation cycles and backed by a 5-year warranty. The AirSim® nasal passage has been developed in a manner similar to the AirSim® airway and provides an anatomically correct nasal cavity with important landmarks such as the turbinates clearly defined. An inflatable tongue with lifelike size and texture simulates edema for training in obstructed airway management.

Return Policy

Shipping Terms:

 

Orders will be shipped via UPS Standard Ground unless other handling is requested or deemed more economical.  QuadMed will pay standard ground shipment costs on all orders over $150.00 for any shipments delivered within the continental U.S., except for oversized shipments or those exceeding weight limitations.  For oversized shipments and those exceeding weight limitations, standard shipping rates will apply. 

 

Any order under $150 will incur a $14.95 shipping & handling fee for shipment delivered within the U.S.  Actual shipping rates apply for any orders going to Alaska or Hawaii.  For all resellers, freight will be prepaid and added to the invoice.  Shipments will be made to business addresses only.

 

International Orders:

 

There is a $1,000.00 minimum for orders placed for delivery outside the U.S.  International orders must be prepaid via wire transfer.  Receipt of wire transfer is required before any shipments are made on the order.  If the product(s) requires a Medical Authorization document, it must be submitted in English and received prior to product shipment.

 

Return Policy:

 

Written authorization must be obtained prior to returning merchandise.  All returns should be sent back within 30 days in new, resalable condition.  Returns are subject to a 20% restock fee.  Merchandise held longer than 60 days, or custom orders, are not returnable.  All returned items must be prepaid and sent back to QuadMed.  Returns must be received by QuadMed within 14 days of RMA issuance.  Please have the RMA written clearly on the outside of the package or on the shipping label.  Products received without an RMA # will not be eligible for credit and will be returned to sender.

 

All returns must be accompanied by an RMA.  Please contact customer service at 800-933-7334 or email us at [email protected] to obtain an RMA #.

 

If the return is a result of a QuadMed error, we will take every measure to quickly rectify the situation at no cost to you.  Notification of any errors must be received within 14 days of shipment/invoice date.

1. Products returned that are not in their original packaging, or original packaging is broken

2. Products that have been written on or engraved

3. Products that are special/customer orders

4. Products that exceed 60 days from invoice date.
