The QuadMed PEDI-IMMOBILIZER is an extrication and immobilization device for infants and children that you can trust. The Pedi-Immobilizer was designed for the purpose of immobilizing infants and small children who have suffered potential cervical spine injuries. The device can also be used for extrication of these small patients in hard to reach places, such as the floorboard of a vehicle, or a car seat. To move a patient from such an area, increased manipulation is often required. In a cramped area, use of an adult sized backboard becomes difficult if not impossible. The Pedi-Immobilizer offers a unique alternative to these awkward extrication situations and also assures sound immobilzation.
